KEY STAGE 4

"The capacity to learn is a gift; the ability to learn is a skill; the willingness to learn is a choice."

All pupils in Key Stage 4 work towards GCSE English Language and GCSE English Literature. We follow the Edexcel syllabus for both subjects, which are 100% exams during Year 11.

Over the course of the two years, pupils will engage with both classic and modern Literature, including poetry and develop an understanding of how the English Language works, what it means, and how it can influence readers and listeners.
